PLEASE HELP me get my money back! Mr Never Give Up Alain Horoit knows I need it to make a gravestone for my mother!I would like to tell you my story because I hope it might prevent others from suffering.
In June 2009 when I was finishing university Alain Horoit contacted me on facebook and invited to visit him in Antwerp. I had met him 8 years before through Jdate but it did not work out then, we met only two or three times. At first I declined because I was busy with the exams, but gradually he was able to convince me – I had liked him before and was just separated from my boyfriend.
When I came he was very nice to me, told me how his girlfriend has just left him because he recently started having financial problems . He was in need of consolation. I was sorry for him and since I liked him and knew him before it was easy to fall in love.
After 2 or 3 times that we saw each other he started asking me for money, saying he had nothing to eat. He was almost crying. I sent him small amounts with Western Union, even though I myself was completely broke - just finishing my studies, working and living as an immigrant in Germany.
Then he asked me to make an appointment with my boss Robert Hoffman of Corporate Concierge GmbH (with whom I had good relations) -and he asked my boss for a loan of 10 000 Euro. Normally it should have raised suspicion but I was in love and knew Alain as a businessman. My boss at first promised him to give but then did not give him the money, Alain was desperate, asked me to take a bank loan. I could not do it because I just started working, so I borrowed from friends – he promised to give me back after his big Event, European Ball in Antwerp in November 2009, then the Jewish Erev Gala Ball with Shiri Maimon in January 2010.
The events did not prove to be successful and he got only deeper into debts.
He said his friend and partner Marco blocked his bank account and he expected payments to come so I gave him a credit card from an empty account I did not use. A month after I got a letter from the bank saying there was a minus 1250 Euro I must pay back immediately. I confronted him with it, he started saying he would pay back, kept promising for weeks, sent me 250 Euros and then nothing.
In March 2010 he asked me for help, he needed a second person to form a company which would give him a chance to pay me back. I went with him to Milan to sign the contract, which I did not take in copy because I trusted him as my boyfriend, he said I was only a shareholder.
In July 2010 he was making another event in Tel Aviv. Suddenly he went to Israel, but the event was again a financial flop. After that he never returned to Antwerp, did not give me his number and kept only in touch per mail promising me to give back.
"The company is going to start working and I pay you back, I will be better when it starts“. In November he wrote "we must stay friends." I was heartbroken and so depressed I almost committed suicide.
I kept asking him to give me something back, he kept saying - when company starts. I did not know even the name of the company, let alone details who his bosses were. He told me the company would be in green electricity and he would work for other people and get commission, so he can also pay me. He kept promising to write a letter of debt and send me the company details but never did. In February my mother passed away. He sent me company papers to sign the week I sat shiva. He even called which made me very happy and said to me if fate wanted it we would be together to get me to sign for him.
He kept promising to send me money, I was begging him for months. In July he sent me 50 Euros.
He said the company is starting and that he want to take me out so I would not have risks, I did not understand which risks. He made instead of debt letter agreement for sales of shares (I had 10% in this company A H New Energy s.r.l.) for the amount he owed me.
He sent me resignation which I did not sign because it was a ridiculous text giving me no rights but keep silent but I signed the sales of shares agreement in which it said Alain Horoit would pay every month 3000 Euros until on dec 31. 2011 the whole amount is paid and the shares are transferred. The first payment came but then the second payment did not, I got angry because of the delay, now I knew he could pay but did not and he kept telling stories.
His former roommate contacted me. Turned out he owed money to her, also dated a woman at the same time with me from whom he took 2000 for 2 days, never returned, sent her a few times 20 Euros.
His 3rd girlfriend visited form Spain, she was not Jewish.
During the wholeyear he kept getting money from his bosses for me telling them I wanted to get out as director.
It turned out he made me second director of the company with full responsibility. I found out when he sent me letter of revocation.There was address of the notary, who sent me the deed of incorporation. Alain tried to force me to sign a power of attorney to his company lawyer to sell my shares.
Alain's plan was clear, he would use me as second director because it was impossible to open a company with 1 person in Italy. He would get rid of me by buying out my shares with the company money, thus getting rid of the debt and also not paying from his pocket.
I know now this company is a facade for money laundering and he put me in real danger.
People told me he was a terrible crook who has no morals. Only it was too late – that is why I want to warn people against him.
